Food Pantry

The food pantry is located behind St. Joseph Church at 142 Lincoln Rd, Lincoln MA. Our clients can choose from a large variety of non-perishable items, paper goods, bakery items, as well as refrigerated and frozen foods including poultry, fish and meats, milk, yogurt and cheeses. In addition, we provide lots of fresh fruits and vegetables, often from our local farms! The food pantry is open twice a month.

In 2023 we served 166 families, 417 individuals at the food pantry. We give out approximately 17,000 pounds of food every month.

Emergency Financial Assistance

We give emergency financial support to families and individuals. Typically we visit clients at their homes or meet them at the food pantry, make a personal connection, offer support, gather information, and work with them to determine how we can help them stabilize and improve their situation.

During our meetings, we provide referrals to other agencies. Financial support is usually targeted to cover rent or utility payments, heating oil, car insurance and repairs, or medications.

Scholarship Oppurtunities

Since 2017, we have offered dozens of scholarships from $100 to $2000 to financially needy mature adults for coursework that would strengthen their employment potential.

Extras throughout the year!

Once a relationship has been established, we do what we can to help lessen the load and spread joy. Here are just a few of our ongoing programs:

  • Christmas Meals: During the holidays, our clients may receive grocery store gift cards so they can prepare a festive meal of their choice. Gift cards are especially appreciated by our clients.

  • Christmas Gift Giving: Thanks to the incredible generosity of our parishioners the children of our clients may receive Christmas gifts and gift cards.

  • Thanksgiving Day Meals: We often offer all the fixings for a festive Thanksgiving meal, a pie, and a grocery store gift card.

  • Back to School Supplies: Parents of children in grades K-12 may receive gift cards to help purchase school supplies or new sneakers prior to the start of the school year.
